The collective power of conscious brands and consumers is a movement that isn't slowing down and we're here for it. Every aspect of Favorite People has been thoughtfully selected to align with our exceptionally high respect for the planet and all of Earth's people.
Most companies don’t want to talk about their supply chain and that’s a red flag. When we started Favorite People we were excited to be unconventionally transparent with our customers. Every dollar spent in this global economy has an impact; every dollar spent supports certain systems - good or bad. It's important to us that we transparently share our values and business practices so that you know what systems your dollars are upholding. Hint: organic farming and living wages. Have a question that isn’t answered on this page? Drop us a line at connect@favoritepeople.co.
When we say ethically made, we are talking about the people part of people + planet. There’s nothing sustainable about an unethical supply chain, so we proudly partner with factories and farmers who are doing things right.
The factories do not use child or forced labor, and they offer a safe and healthy work environment.
The makers who make our clothes are paid above-standard wages with medical benefits.
Choosing to use 100% organic cotton supports organic farmers, helping provide a dependable source of income for their families while reducing their exposure to harmful chemicals and pesticides.
At Favorite People, we’re anti plastic. You won’t find plastic in our clothes (bye bye polyester) or around our clothes (see ya poly bags). We only use 100% organic cotton and ship everything in recycled and curbside recyclable paper mailers. Even our labels are zero waste and curbside recyclable so you don’t need to worry about removing the label before recycling the mailer. It’s the little things :)
We support organic farmers! The benefits of organic farming go way beyond the farming practice itself. It’s avoiding chemicals that have been proven to be harmful to farmers in close contact with them, the surrounding environment and drinking water, and the end consumer who wears it. Oh, and did we mention that organic cotton can be grown using 91% less water than conventional cotton? We’ll say it again for the people in the back: 91% LESS WATER. We love that organic cotton farming doesn’t draw heavily on local water supply.
We believe sustainability is a practice - that it is a verb; an action. We want our littles to grow up in a better world and be armed with better tools at a younger age to make thoughtful choices. At Favorite People, we practice sustainability in each decision we make, prioritizing people and the planet. From the way our farmers and makers are paid to the consequences of our supply chain on Planet Earth, we make sure our business model helps shape the world we want to live in. No business nor individual is too small to have an impact.
85% of all textiles end up in landfills. Help us do our part to change that statistic. Our clothes are made of 100% organic cotton, which is 100% recyclable. Wear your clothes, hand them down, and send them back with Re:FavPpl when you’re done. We’ll make sure they are reused or recycled depending on the item’s condition.
